My husband and I will be in London for the first time for 4 nights in April 3, 8-10, & 14-15 spaced out over a 2 week trip (broken up by two 5 day tours) and I'm curious which Premier Inns you would recommend based on what we're hoping to see/do while in London. I'm open to staying at more than one location if it makes sense to save on time getting places. Hoping to keep it under 150/night unless a location would really save us on time.
We're also hoping to be in a nice area near nice pubs/restaurants/bars for dinner.
Day 1 - Arrival day 7am LHR
lunch @ Borough Market
Maybe a pub tour in afternoon or evening
Maybe walk around any cute neighborhoods like Chelsea, Notting Hill (open to suggestions on neighborhoods to visit)
Then next morning leave for 5 day tour - meet at 9:15 @ Greenline Coach Terminal, Bulleid Way, Victoria
Day 2 (in London) arrive in Victoria around 7pm
Have the next full day in London.
Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St Paul
Maybe London Walk tour
Maybe 02 Roof climb
Maybe jack the ripper night tour
Leave for another Rabbies tour the next morning meeting in Victoria @ 9
Leave for another 5 days then come back, dropped in Victoria 7pm
Last day in London before flight at 8pm
Churchill War Rooms
Walk by (but probably not go inside) Westminster, Buckingham Palace (unless we did this during a London Walks tour)
^^^This is not a finished itinerary in case it seems like we're packing a lot in, just the items that interest us.
So far I'm deciding between these, but open to suggestions not on the list, too
Premier Inn London City (Tower Hill) hotel
Premier Inn London Tower Bridge hotel
Premier Inn London Blackfriars or Farringdon
Premier Inn London Victoria
Premier Inn London Southwark (Borough High Street)

They're a pretty boring chain all around. So I think it just depends on which one you want to pick. Personally I would recommend the Sanctuary House about 100 meters from Westminster. I walked out the door, looked right and there was Westminster staring me in the face.

They are boring but I'm looking for a lower price and I like that we can store our bags there on the days we have to check out. Sanctuary is a bit higher than I wanted to spend at 279/night unfortunately.

Boring? Maybe.
Comfortable and good price? Yes!
Why isn’t County Hall on the list? Right next to the London Eye with Parliament across the Thames and a 10 minute walk across Westminster Bridge.

They’re all basically the same and will work fine for the usual tourist highlights, I’d probably pick the same one so at least you’ll be familiar with how to get there and the immediate neighbourhood surrounding. Premier inns don’t tend to be in charming neighborhoods anyway so that wouldn’t be a reason to try 3 different ones.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn Waterloo. I stayed there for a week and found the location to be excellent.
I don't really travel for the hotels. I don't expect the hotel to be the star of any trip. Once in awhile, I'll splurge for something special but most of the time I'm looking for a clean, well run hotel that is conveniently located to what I want to see and leaves money in my pocket. I feel like I can count on the Premier Inn to deliver what I am looking for.
The Waterloo location is near quite a few of your sites and its transport links for buses, trains, and the underground are terrific and just 1 block away. No train noise at all.

If 150/night means $150 US, that will take some of the best-located Premier Inns out of play unless you are willing to go for non-refundable reservations. Flexible rates at some of them will probably exceed 150 pounds per night. But other PI locations will meet your budget. Rates do tend to creep up as you get closer to the arrival date, so I recommend getting something pinned down soon.

We are staying for a few days bath the Premier Inn near Victoria. Easy walk to Westminister and other points.

County Hall is my favorite. I stayed at one of them down near the Tower - too far away from many things. I am a walker, not particularly a tube rider. County Hall is very central and easy to navigate from.

Premier Inns are reliable. I've stayed in a few and the rooms were about 95% the same. Always clean and quiet.
Check with the hotel before you assume they will hold your luggage. If they do, stay in the same one so you don't have to go to one hotel to get our luggage and another to check in. Plus it's more of an incentive to hold your luggage.
For convenience I would choose PI Victoria with County Hall a close second.

You can do this yourself. Call up each Premier Inn location on Google Maps. Press the Nearby button. See what attractions, pubs, etc. (and rapid transit) are in the vicinity. Compare to the other Premier locations. Make up your mind which is most suitable. Bon Voyage.

thanks for the suggestions everyone! I looked up how long it would take to get to each of the morning places (Borough Market, Tower of London, Churchill War Rooms, and Greenline Coach Terminal) and it looks like these would be best: County Hall, London Blackfriars, Leicester Square , Kings Cross, and London Victoria. I'm going to go with London Victoria since we'll have to go to/from the Greenline Coach Terminal 4 times with luggage and it looks like it's not too far from Borough Market, Tower of London, Churchill War Rooms.

You are also only a 20 minute stroll to Buckingham Palace. About the same amount of time maybe 10 more minutes to the Churchill War rooms.
Be sure to get your Oyster Cards. Will make your travels to Borough Market and the Tower of London easier. For instance 20 minute District Line tube ride to the Tower from Victoria Station.

We've booked the County Hall location for September, so I'm interested in hearing what others have to say about that location!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the place we can come to get the opinions of others who may have personal experience related to our questions? I'm sure most of us realize that we can Google information and look at maps, but getting input from those who have actually "been there, done that" is often a better way to get a feel for a place we've never been to.
A little patience, grace and empathy with fellow travelers goes a long way...

Forum etiquette also means you don’t hitchhike on another posters post ( in this case, travelk’s) either.
I realize your comment about being interested in hearing about the County Hall Premier Inn is just that a comment.
Hopefully you will get some responses about the County Hall property.

Forgive me, I wasn't trying to "hitchhike" on the post. Perhaps I should have said that I appreciate hearing that others have enjoyed the County Hall location, as it's putting my mind at ease that I chose well.

@Laurie many posters have stayed at the County Hall Premiere Inn. Type Premier Inn County Hall in the search box above and you can review all the remarks even the ones going back 9 years ago.
Trust me you’ve made a good choice. Location, cost, comfort, etc.

I would recommend checking out the County Hall location! My family stayed there last March and it was an excellent location. Easy walk to Waterloo station, multiple bus lines close by, and can walk to many places. My parents lucked out and got a room with a view of the Thames and could see the Eye lit up at night. It was a corner room- very large and kind of an odd shaped room, but the size was great and good view was unexpected.

Premier Inn Waterloo is a block away from County Hall. You may want to check prices and availability at both.

We have stayed at County Hall several times and the location is good. However, our new favorite is Borough High Street where we stayed in 2018 and 2019. We also still like Borough Market but High Street was a little "newer" feeling. Tescos is very handy and the market, the tube and a Costa are very close. Check in isn't until 2pm but they've always let us leave our luggage.

This interesting thread started back in February re a trip planned for this past April, which I'm guessing didn't happen. ;-( But I hope the OP gets to do it in the future, and I agree that the Victoria location makes most sense simply because it's convenient to Victoria Station, where they will be coming and going a lot anyway.
