Nya Burns Nya Burns 5'7" | CG Grace Christian Academy | 2026 State TN is a HUGE pickup for a Grace Christian team trying to put themselves on the map. Leading her team to a 4-0 record, it was obvious that she’s playing in a ton of big basketball games, and is accustomed to playing in front of college coaches. The moment was certainly not too big for her. She looked confident and poised leading her team as both a scoring guard, and a distributor making everyone around her better. The Abby Roberts Abby Roberts 5'9" | PG Grace Christian Academy | 2027 State TN / Nya Burns Nya Burns 5'7" | CG Grace Christian Academy | 2026 State TN combination is going to be tough to stop.

Hill looked much improved this season, in part because of the addition of Burns and Roberts alleviating pressure on her. Offensively, she’ll have much more of an opportunity to be a spot up shooter off the ball, and attack closeouts from help situations as her new teammates drew a lot of attention in the paint at BCAT. She’s an excellent defender for a ’27, and will only continue to improve on that side of the ball.

Another Grace sophom*ore that looked improved from last season. She seemed much more confident and in full attack mode getting to the rim. With her size, she has the chance to be a real difference maker on both sides of the ball this season for Grace.

The only senior on Grace’s squad, she too looks to be much improved. Having better teammates around you makes everything easier, and Gonzalez looked comfortable in her role at BCAT. She didn’t force anything, and simply played off her teammates. You can tell she has absorbed a lot Neek and Ang’s coaching over the past year, and looked really effective on both sides of the ball.

It was nice to watch Bryant play against Oak Ridge as she always seemed to have an above average defender on her. Bryant’s not a super athlete, but instead used a great combination of hesitations, changes in speed and direction to get the rim. She showed off her ability to score at all 3 levels, and overall looked really impressive coming off a nice spring with Team Brandan Wright .

Really athletic kid that we have ranked far too low on the PGH rankings. Did a great job defensively vs Wayne County, and plays HARD with active hands and feet. Offensively, really pushed the pace out in transition and looked good both attacking the rim and making “on time and on target.” Really solid piece for Oak Ridge.

Looked excellent vs Oak Ridge. Played at her own pace, and never allowed OR’s pressure to speed her up out of her comfort zone. Her skill level is so darn good, and was able to beat defenders off the dribble and get to the midrange or all the way to the rim with either hand. She immediately jumps off the floor when you watch her as her combination of size and skill is hard to find. There is a reason she’s a perennial Miss Basketball candidate, and she showed out at BCAT.
