I have noticed sometimes it gets “unhappy” when the handle is not fully in the locked posts. When closing, be sure to force up to the best of your ability (obviously too much force isn’t good for that plastic handle). Let me know if that helps at all!

My first thought is mold? I recommend having dehumidifiers in the safe because fluids trapped in it can cause mildew. Sorry for your experience, glad it opened!

I can't really speak to this, but I imagine resetting is not an option based on what I know.

Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of that either. Maybe why I thought of bringing water bottles into the cooler for a size comparison haha. That's probably the cheapest and easiest way to make it waterproof.

that's frustrating. If you've tried the master code in the manual AND it has fresh batteries. I would contact the company!
